EAPs: EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

Welcome...
Across Perth and in regional and rural areas of Australia, PiB bridges the service gap with face to face and over-the-phone coaching. In this way, caseworkers, healthcare and HR professionals have a qualified and reliable resource in an increasingly demanding workload environment. PiB works with you and for you to:

  • mentor clients back to previous levels of work performance; and
  • provide the tools to become self-sustaining and self-reliant, regardless of what lies ahead.

ASSESSING NEED

Many factors impact negatively on an employee's ability to perform well on the job. They broadly include health, marital, legal, family, emotional, psychological and financial stress. The short check list below may help you identify potential or existing problem areas:

THE (EMPLOYEE) WELLNESS CHECKLIST

1. work and/or personal relationship difficulties
2. workplace change
3. job dissatisfaction
4. depression or anxiety
5. personal loss or grief
6. parenting issues
7. the effects of alcohol, drugs or gambling
8. conflict and/or anger

"Security is felt in the status quo. We fear change, however bad our present circumstances are. The new requires an effort of will, an almost childlike sense of hope for renewal and perhaps, a strength we have long forgotten..."

...UNTIL WE SEE THE POWER OF 3

The Power of 3 is pragmatic and results-oriented - taking employees beyond coping and relief - to a level of innate healthy functioning they may seldom, if ever, have experienced before.

People create their reality via thought - a direct reflection of the state of mind that tells 'their story', presents 'their truth' and thus guides their actions; for good or ill. The Power of 3 directs employees toward sustainable and healthy thought processes - making the return to work [in whatever capacity] more enjoyable and more productive.

To this end, we do not advocate or teach employees to analyse the past, memorise or practice 'behaviour modification' techniques. Instead, they are invited to look within themselves for the rich resources that already exist but which have usually been obscured by conditioned thinking.
